So…after patch v.0.54 was out for MSEA for a few days, finally i got a chance to sneak online to try out the new Pirate PQ (known as Davy John PQ in MSEA) in Herb Town. I was pretty bored of training at Singapore Ghost Ship maps for so long….-_- (14 levels! and did I mention no Steelies at all?? what luck -_-)
Pirate PQ was pretty straightforward…essentially, for me it seems like sort of a 2D hack-and-slash: kill all monsters then proceed to next stage thingy. Well, except for the stage during which we have to throw keys dropped by monsters in front of some doors to stop the monsters from spawning – oh how I appreciate thieves’ dark sight by then. Makes things much faster.
I was fortunate enough to find a nice party with one of my buddies who was level 100, and so I joined them for a few rounds. It was a fast PQ, helped by the fact that there were 2 level 100s in my party, and also a smuggler to smuggle any extra keys from the door-shutting stage (>_< sorry I forgot the stage name) for use during the next round of PQ.
However, EXP for my level wasn’t that great (around 1.xx% for a PQ run of roughly 15mins on normal EXP if i’m not mistaken) – but the low EXP rate was understood, since it was a party of 6. But I have no complaints switching over to this spot temporarily – I’m not training that much nowadays due to restrictions, and it’s going to take me a loooong time (500 PQs!) to get that final +90HP Lord Pirate Hat – might as well do it slowly. Moreover if I decide to do some serious training, once I hit 85 I can proceed to Zipangu Armory to leech from Bains…not a bad idea after all, in my opinion…

On a sidenote, I do feel terribly sorry for my party mates every time I PQ – this is due to me DC-ing all the time, whether for connection reasons or personal reasons like avoiding a discovery by my parents. I understand that it’s a real hassle to lose a party member halfway during a PQ, and I do notice that some parties do not like DC-ers – but I really can’t do anything about it. If any of those who have partied Fishooboru before are reading this now, please do understand my situation, and please forgive me okay? I’m really really sorry about this…
